Hooking up a PC to and LCD screen

Most LCD TVs allow you to connect your PC to it. This is great for video gaming. First you will need to make sure your video card and TV do support this function.

Hardware Instructions

Below is the TV input and then the PC video card input. You will need a monitor cable to connect both.

Software Instructions

Then for a typical computer you follow the below instructions for Windows XP,

- Click on the 'Control Panel'.

- Then click on the 'Appearances and Themes' link.

- Then click on the 'Display' link. Then you should be at the below location,

Here you will need to set the resolution and vertical frequency to the native values of your LCD TV. You should check your manual for these details.
