Cheap LCD television

Home > Lowest current prices for different display sizes

The three best selling screen sizes are currently 19, 32 and 42 inches. As the below price guideline shows, the greater the screen size, the larger the decrepancy in price from low to good quality. If you choose to purchase a low quality television instead of a good one. Then you could save £50 for a 19 inch TV, £100 for a 32 inch TV and £200 for a 42 inch TV.

What you cannot expect from a cheap and small screen size, are features like, 1080 HD, 100Hz refresh rate, DLNA technology, 24p technology and a light sensor. But, what you can expect, at the very least, are for it to be VESA wall mount compatible, HDMI connection, AV input, dual use as a PC monitor and for it to be HD ready.

Whilst even the cheapest LCD television can come with a good resolution rate, such as Goodman LD1962D at 1440x900. It's not always a sign of quality, 'What' magazine tend to provide the best picture, connectivity and sound grading.

The above guidelines are based on the finding of that magazine. Whilst it's not an exact science, and is based on a subjective opinion, I feel the above pricing guidelines give a good basic outline to the average consumer.
